The origin
Transhumanz.org was established to help French and German shepherds value their sheep wool. The project started with public awareness workshops on the properties of differents European Merino wools.
We collected wool from various shepherds in France and Germany and we had it woven by hand in the Bavarian forest. We have thus observed which wool was the most suitable for our project.
The wool is completely processed in Germany and comes from organic farms. We design our clothes to be sewn in small series in several cities, close to each retailers.
